Services offered by www.rtdc.in, official website of Rajasthan Toursim Development Corporation Ltd., (RTDC) Jaipur and Terms and Conditions governing the services.

Definitions: In this agreement the following words shall have the following meanings/interpretation/full form :
  1. “RTDC” means the service provider who operates and is responsible for the RTDC hotels, motels, Palace on Wheels, Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, Raj Bhrama Packaged tours and city sight seeing tours (RTDC products).
     
  2. “Website” means the official websites of RTDC viz., www.rtdc.in
     
  3. “User” means an individual, firm or entity who have accessed the website of RTDC and having read and accepted the terms and conditions of usage of the website by clicking on the ‘accept’ button.
     
  4. “On Line Reservation Voucher” means any confirmation issued by RTDC, through your use of RTDC products booking website for your selected days of journey or accommodation or package tour or city sight seeing tour as specified by RTDC. This you get printed from the website, or what is obtained from authorized agents of RTDC.
     
  5. “Reservation Request No.” means the three to seven digit number generated by the system on each and every successful booking.
     
  6. ‘Payment Gateway’ means the website of the credit card processing bank where you will be furnishing your credit card details for making payment towards the cost of service you have availed using the website.

Services Offered: The services offered by RTDC on its website are specified below. The same services will also be available through authorized agents of RTDC at various locations. However these service providers may have made different restrictions / limitations in the packages offered and RTDC is not responsible for any such limited service offered or for such differences in service between any two or more such service providers.
  1. Advance reservation in any type or class of accommodation which are offered by RTDC on full payment for both adults and children, for RTDC products on any available departure / hotel / tour subject to terms of accommodation specified by RTDC.
     
  2. General enquiries such as accommodation availability, tariff for various types or class of accommodation offered by RTDC, departure time, check-in and check-out timings, discounts offered , etc.
     
  3. On line cancellation of booked RTDC products subject to cancellation rules set by RTDC and the credit card issuing bank.
     
  4. Issue of duplicate reservation vouchers will through email only.
     
Terms and Conditions of Service: RTDC provides the facility for transacting, reserving and issue of Reservation Request No of RTDC products booked through the internet and through the online reservation system installed and maintained by Sahara Next. Reservation and booking of RTDC products and all transactions through this website shall be governed by conditions set out by RTDC from time to time.

The following terms and conditions will apply if you wish to use the website of RTDC’s online reservation service developed and hosted by Sahara Next. Please go through the conditions carefully and if you accept them, you may register and transact on the website. Please note that a person or firm or entity cannot register on the website more than once. Also please note that by registering yourself, you are deemed to have read and agreed/accepted all the terms and conditions set forth here. Once you have clicked the ‘I Agree’ button on the bottom of this Terms and Conditions, you have entered into a formal agreement with RTDC for the purpose of transactions on this website. RTDC’s performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal processes of Govt.of India, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of RTDC’s right to comply with law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of this website or information provided to or gathered by RTDC with respect to such use. You agree that RTDC may provide details of your use of the website to regulators or police or any other third party, or in order to resolve disputes or complaints which relate to the website, at RTDC’s complete discretion. If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth herein, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and RTDC with respect to this website and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the user and RTDC with respect to this website. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form.

On Line Booking
  1. We agree to provide online booking facility for RTDC products to registered users who agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement.
     
  2. The user can take a printout of Reservation Reqeuest No. voucher and check-in at the hotel or report to board the bus / luxury train without any further confirmation from RTDC.
     
  3. In all cases, please remember to carry a valid proof of identification.
     
  4. We will provide you the service with utmost care and professionalism.
     
  5. Booking of RTDC products through the internet is available to registered users 24 hours a day and all the 7 days of the week. Nevertheless, service hours are liable to change without any prior intimation.
Issue of Reservation Request No. Voucher
  1. User Registration: You must be a registered user to use our website to reserve, book and print any Reservation Request No. voucher and for any type of enquiries. Only persons above the age of 18 can register as a user. A user can register only once on this website. All payments towards the cost of the booking the RTDC products and the service charge, if any, will be through HDFC Bank or any other payment gateway provided in the payment page of the website. Further, your credit card account details are not stored in our portal/website. You will be redirected to the payment gateway maintained by the credit card processing bank to furnish details of your credit card. Upon successful payment with the credit card processing bank, you will be redirected to our website from where you can print out the e-Ticket or e-voucher.

  2. The misuse of Credit Card/ Internet Banking Access details is a criminal offence under Indian 'The Information Technology Act, 2000'. We will aggressively pursue and prosecute all transactions that attempt misuse of Credit Card/ Internet Banking Access details. As part of our strict security checks we track every transaction for its genuineness. For 'Fraud Protection', we will be recording your Internet Protocol (IP) address and Date & Time when you log in to our website.

  3. Accommodations can be booked upto a reasonable time set by RTDC.

  4. RTDC makes no guarantee that any service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

  5. You may make a booking for an individual or a group but upto a maximum of 10 rooms at one time or 6 seats in a tour and 10 seats in luxury train.

  6. A registered user can chose his type of room from the selection or class of coach of luxury train from the selection. The booking will be confirmed online and on successful receipt of payment from the payment gateway viz., HDFC Bank or any other payment gateway, the system will generate a Reservation Request number for each booking. Booking is subject to realization of the full tariff and the service charge, if any (incl. of service tax) from the payment gateway viz., HDFC Bank or any other payment gateway.

    You will be responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes and assessments arising out of your use of this website. If you want to try for the same booking again, it will be treated as a fresh one.

  7. Please also carry a proof of identification while going to utilize the on line booking of any of the RTDC products. RTDC staff has the right to refuse accommodation if guest/s are different from the original booking.

  8. RTDC and the check-in staff are not responsible for any wrong bookings due to incorrect details furnished by the user.

Your Obligations:
  1. You shall access our website only for lawful purposes and you shall be responsible for complying with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations in connection with the use of our website. This website is for your personal and non-commercial use. You shall not modify, edit, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information, products or services obtained from this website. You shall not create a hyperlink to the website or ‘frame’ the website, except with the express advance written permission of RTDC.

  2. All information provided by you on the ‘registration page’ must be accurate and complete and all fields marked * (mandatory) must be filled. RTDC reserves all rights to disclose any or part of such information’s provided to satisfy any applicable law, authorities, legal processes, any central/state/local government/bodies.

  3. You may use this website only for legitimate bookings and you may not use the same for any sort of commercial resale and profit. Without limitation, any speculative, false or fraudulent booking in anticipation of demand is prohibited and RTDC has the right to refuse accommodation of such guests with such Reservation Request No. voucher.

  4. Non-authorization of payment more than twice by the payment gateway for accommodation booked by you is liable to result in cancellation of your registration with us and will be done without any notice to you.

  5. By registering with us, you confirm that you are of legal age as prescribed by law to enter into such agreements and that all the information you have provided us at the time of registration is true and to best of your knowledge and belief. You are responsible for the security of the ‘user name’ and ‘password’ sent to you upon the first registration and since these are transmitted on encrypted mode, even RTDC will have no knowledge about the same. RTDC will not be responsible for any financial loss, inconvenience or mental agony resulting from misuse of your user id/password/credit, debit card number/account number details for bookings made on this portal/website.

  6. RTDC shall use reasonable endeavors to check the accuracy of the information posted on this portal/website for the packaged tours and hotels, but give no warranty as to the accuracy of such information and reserve the right to amend and vary the contents of this website from time to time without prior notice. The website may also contain links to third party websites and which are not under the control of RTDC and as such RTDC will not be responsible for the contents of such sites, including without limitation any link contained in a linked site or any changes or updates to a linked site. RTDC will not be responsible for any transactions with such third party links including advertisers or promotional offers, services, payment for delivery of goods/services etc and is solely between you and the third party link promoters. RTDC will not be responsible or liable for any part of such dealings or promotions.

  7. The maximum amount of our liability to you for all loss or damage arising out of use of our portal/website and the service whether in contract or tort shall be limited to the value of the accommodation booked through your use of this service.
  8. RTDC shall not be liable to you in respect of any short coming in performance of these terms and conditions or breach of the terms and conditions due to any event or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

  9. RTDC may at any time at our sole discretion and without giving any reason or any prior notice terminate or temporarily suspend your access to all or any part of the website.

  10. This agreement and your use of the website is governed by Indian Law and only courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan (India). You hereby irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of only courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan (India) and all disputes arising out of relating to the use of the RTDC website.

  11. This agreement including any document referred to herein constitutes the entire agreement between us and you in respect of your use of this service.

  12. All content and software that is made available to view and/or download in connection with the RTDC website/services, excluding content and /or software that may be made available by end users through a communication service is owned by and is the copyrighted work of RTDC and Sahara Next and/or its suppliers and is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions.

  13. Nothing in this agreement shall operate so as to create a partnership, joint venture, an agency relationship or employment of any kind between you and us.
